滑翔傘錦標(biāo)賽開幕式在大明山舉行，來自國內(nèi)46名前列滑翔傘運(yùn)動員參加此次錦標(biāo)賽。航空運(yùn)動管理中心辦公室主任葉正福、自然保護(hù)區(qū)管理局滕達(dá)初副局長參加開幕式并致辭。

葉正福表示，滑翔傘運(yùn)動，作為航空運(yùn)動的重要項(xiàng)目之一，在我區(qū)起步雖晚，但發(fā)展勢頭強(qiáng)勁。近幾年，滑翔運(yùn)動如雨后春筍般在八桂大地上發(fā)展壯大，處處開花。通過大家的不懈努力，現(xiàn)在，廣西的滑翔傘運(yùn)動產(chǎn)業(yè)已初具規(guī)模。此次錦標(biāo)賽的舉辦，為發(fā)展我區(qū)滑翔運(yùn)動，提高我區(qū)滑翔運(yùn)動競技水平提供難得的機(jī)遇。

滕達(dá)初表示，本次賽事的舉辦，將極大促進(jìn)大明山“山地戶外運(yùn)動”旅游品牌的打造，為塑造廣西大明山——“中國·東盟戶外運(yùn)動中心”品牌助力。作為戶外運(yùn)動會重要活動之一的滑翔傘錦標(biāo)賽，也將打造廣西大明山航空旅游的新名片，進(jìn)一步提高廣西航空體育運(yùn)動旅游、體育旅游的競爭力，進(jìn)一步提高大明山**度，將大明山戶外運(yùn)動聚集地形象推至全國乃至世界。

The top of each line is attached to small

fabric loops sewn into the structure of the wing, which are generally arranged

in rows running span-wise (i.e., side to side). The row of lines nearest the

front are known as the A lines, the next row back the B lines, and so on.[14] A

typical wing will have A, B, C and D lines, but recently, there has been a

tendency to reduce the rows of lines to three, or even two (and experimentally

to one), to reduce drag.

Paraglider lines are usually made from

Dyneema/Spectra or Kevlar/Aramid.[14] Although they look rather slender, these

weigh 3–7 kilograms (6.6–15.4 lb). Combined weight of wing, harness, reserve,

instruments, helmet, etc. is around 12–22 kilograms (26–49 lb).

These developments were combined in June

1978 by three friends, Jean-Claude B茅temps, Andr茅 Bohn and G茅rard Bosson, from

Mieussy, Haute-Savoie, France. After inspiration from an article on slope

soaring in the Parachute Manual magazine by parachutist and publisher Dan

Poynter,[7] they calculated that on a suitable slope, a "square"

ram-air parachute could be inflated by running down the slope; B茅temps launched

from Pointe du Pertuiset, Mieussy, and flew 100 m. Bohn followed him and glided

As with all aircraft, launching and landing

are done into wind. The wing is placed into an airstream, either by running or

being pulled, or an existing wind. The wing moves up over the pilot into a

position in which it can carry the passenger. The pilot is then lifted from the

ground and, after a safety period, can sit down into his harness. Unlike

skydivers, paragliders, like hang gliders, do not "jump" at any time
